Today we announced the addition of the ETS® e-rater® grammar checking functionality into our WriteCheck service to help students improve their writing. WriteCheck’s newly improved report retains the format of your paper making it easier to identify areas where you may need to provide proper citation or fix grammar errors (grammar errors are shown in the image below in purple). Just in time for the new Fall semester, the new features give students with a complete solution to pre-check their written work for:
The new features are the result of a partnership with Educational Testing Service (ETS) that incorporates ETS’ e-rater® scoring engine. ETS’ e-rater® engine is based on more than 10 years of linguistic and student writing research.
In conjunction with the launch of e-rater® WriteCheck has also updated its home page, demo page (including a new demo that walks you through a user’s experience) and FAQs. Please have a look and feel free to send us feedback!
